Diorskin is the beauty brand of today’s post. Dior has been a brand I’ve loved for a long time now, for it’s haute couture and stunning gowns. More recently for Maria Grazia Chiuri first collection for the brand – the J’ADIOR collection especially. However, their skin care and beauty products have caught my eye.
It all started when a friend of mine came to meet me, with the most flawless face, so I had to ask her what foundation was she using, and she said Dior. Word-of-mouth working at it’s best! Allow me to help you get rid of two assumptions (I also thought this too). First being that the price of the foundation sits similar to your favourites, NARS, Estée Lauder etc, slightly more expensive to Mac. Therefore it’s not an expensive foundation, so totally worth the luxury experience. Secondly, they have a wide range of shades across the Forever and Diorstar foundations they have.

Diorskin Forever Foundation & Dark Skin
Okay so being dark skinned means finding the right shade is hard for two reasons. Up until recently most beauty brands had limited shades, therefore I had to go to brands who cater for women of colour. Secondly, when your shade of that pressed powder or foundations sells out, it sells out! And for a long time. So I would buy in bulk if so.
I’ve mentioned on this blog that make-up only became a thing for me in the latter part of my life in my ‘Best Beauty Looks SS16 wit Farfetch’ post. The only reason why I started exploring was because my foundation stick from Fashion Fair was out of stock forever. I know I know, everyone laughs at me for this brand, but I got sucked in by my mother haha. Good news is, I upgraded 2 years ago or so, and started buying make up from Mac and Illasmasqua.
Anyway back to Diorskin, after seeing my friend as previously mentioned I went to Selfridges and was served by a lovely lady at the Dior counter. She used a device to accurately colour match me to the Forever foundation in colour 70, and then ended up buying eyeshadow. This foundation has a matte (but not dry looking) finish, and is so weightless for a full coverage foundation. It contains
