Hi Guys, Happy Monday!

Today’s post is all about this roll neck right here. Knitwear isn’t really my thing, but damn it’s been cold! Another busy but fun week ahead, so bring it on! Positive vibes only. Last week wasn’t the best. I spent most of the time being exhausted, and it just rolled over day, after day. I ended up cancelling almost all of my plans, but I’ve slept well (as I write this), and I feel good again.

Breaks are so important, and it’s so easy to get caught up in the hype of work, blogging and life. Sometimes it’s important to take time out and chill, recharge those batteries, and attack the day. Looking forward to all the content I’ll be producing during my time off next week!

Roll Neck Newness

Okay so, as I briefly mentioned roll neck jumpers are not usually my thing. In fact knitwear isn’t my thing at all. I’m a layering girl. I’ll wear my t-shirts and blouses all year round, and throw a cardigan or a jacket over it. I even used to wear light bomber jackets under winter coats haha! I always feel jumpers in general make me look fat, and they don’t tuck into jeans and skirts well. My excuses are endless haha! But last week was so cold, and I just thought the devil is a liar! I must buy a jumper, and as my H&M obsession continues, I bought this roll neck, with the skirt the model was wearing. The skirt is just right for this season too, and looks great with ankle boots.

On this occasion, I decided to style the jumper and skirt with these good old snake print boots from Faith via Debenhams, last year. I know Faith right?! It still exists in Debenhams haha. I was on the hunt for snake print boots last year, and Google showed me this pair! I don’t always like to match. Actually most of the time I don’t. I feel if you always match, it will get a little boring, and you don’t want your outfits to be predictable right?

Anyway I’m really getting into this autumnal trend of knitwear and tailored separates, which I think is the perfect fit for work. I work in digital marketing, so it’s causal, but for meetings I’m always smart casual. So if you work in a similar field, this look could work. If you want to be safe, then opt for black sock heeled boots instead. I’ll be buying a few more roll necks to add to my wardrobe, so don’t be surprised if this becomes my staple look.

Love this roll neck! The colour is really unique compared to the usual black and grey options.

Great style as always Tash! 🙂
