Spring jackets season is finally here! Last week saw temperature highs of 27 degrees, it was too hot to wear your spring jacket. However, I’m glad to see the back of all the snow and the cold weather, and excited to bring out those trench coats, leather jackets and dusters. I do have a large collection of spring jackets, and I can’t wait to start showcasing them on the blog.
I have been a little absent lately, however, I’m enjoying the process of change. Challenging myself in new dimensions, and learning new things about myself every day. My personal style is also evolving a little too! I think I’m becoming more myself, wearing more of what I want even if it’s not always on ‘trend’. Anyway, I’m back to producing more content and writing more. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to find out where I’ve been. Keep an eye out on the blog and my YouTube channel, as there is a ton of content to come. However, in the meantime, let’s get into this post!
Spring Jackets & Duster Coats
Coats and Jackets are my obsession, especially during the slightly colder months and transitional periods. I think you can never have enough. Trench coats and duster coats are a spring and autumn staple. The lightweight style of these coats means its heavy enough to keep you warm where it can get a bit nippy, but be light enough to flow when it gets warm. This season bright cloured duster coats are in, and this number is from Top Shop.
Top Shop has been a great place to buy coats and jackets over the years, and I have a number of their jackets and coats in my collection. It’s affordable, without the quality being compromised – so if you’re looking for a high street option form your spring jackets and coats, then I would strongly recommend. This duster coat is a great statement, that compliments other primary colours. It also has a belt so it can be wrapped and brings you in at the waist.
I styled this duster coat with a basic grey t-shirt, skinny mid-wash jeans and my Balenciaga nano mini city bag. As the green of this spring coat pops, it made sense to style it with bright colour shoes which are these cobalt blue pumps from Office. The socks are new in from Fendi, and I bought to wear with heels. This is an off-duty look you would wear to meet friends at a bar maybe after work. Let me know what you think of this look, and your favourite spring jacket or coat you’ve been loving. Until next time!
