Hello Beautiful People!
It’s almost the weekend, and boy am I looking forward to spending quality time with bae…my bed. We have so much to catch up on haha! Anyway, in today’s post I’m going to be talking about this statement biker jacket, and why you should make it a point to be a statement everyday! As well as where to get the best biker jackets from!
I guess being a statement is about making a point, and a positive declaration, for whatever you stand for. It’s about making yourself indispensable in your career, among your friends and your family. To be a positive influence wherever you go, and do everything with pride, precision, and the keyword of the week, excellence. I’m working daily to become the best version of me, I could ever be. I want to blow my own mind, with what I could achieve. My blog still isn’t perfect, or to the standard that I would like, but I’m learning everyday and refining it.
I hope this gives you some Thursday motivation to be a statement, as this red biker jacket is. May we always empower one another to be greater, smarter and to be role models as influencers. So lets talk about this statement jacket then!

The Biker Jackets Love Story
Okay so if you’ve following me on Instagram, you would’ve seen this outfit already. If you don’t follow me already, you need to change that now by clicking here! I wore this outfit on a night out with Melissa and Olivia, on a Friday night to an event. Late Sunday night, I was browsing on my phone, and discovered these pictures from Friday, and was like damn Tash, you actually looked hwat girlfriend! I rarely like pictures of myself, and this jacket was everything. So yeah I decided to shoot it!
So I love a good leather biker jacket. Biker jackets and long duster coats are my thing. I bought two variations last year. One a gilet style, and the other just your normal leather jacket with the traditional silver hardware. The leather jacket I bought last year was actually from Zara, and they had the same in red. I loved the red but didn’t want to pay the money for a coloured leather jacket at the time! BIG MISTAKE. It went on sale a week after, then was sold out everywhere. It wasn’t on eBay or Depop, and I was furious with everyone who had this jacket haha!
Anyway, to cut a rant short…I’ve been looking for the perfect red leather jacket since! I saw this jacket online on Zara, and thought mmm patent. Then bought a proper leather one from Mango, which was a strong contender. This jacket came first and I was in total love, and the Mango one just arrived too late, and my heart was already full. So here we are!
Best Places to Buy a Leather Jacket…
I’m personally a leather snob most of the time, apart from statement pieces like this. But for staple black, it’s best to get quality so it can last you for a few years. So when it comes to biker jackets, and leather jackets in general it depends on what you want. So here my little break down:
- Top Shop – Is one of my all time fave shops. Great range of real leather biker jackets and what’s described as PU or ‘leather look’ jackets. They’re always at great value, as well as more special pieces from their designer and premium collections. They always have something for everyone!
- Zara – Another shop you can’t go wrong with. They always have beautifully fitted leather jackets, and biker jackets that come in a more boxy fit. They also have a real leather jacket in at the moment which is just under £100!
- All Saints – Now my next jacket investment will be from here. I can’t put into words how much I love their biker jackets, but as I have so many jackets, I can’t justify yet another one. In comparison to the other two brands mentioned, All Saints is more the higher end of the high street. So you will be looking at spending around the £300 mark and more. People swear by their jackets, so must be worth it!
The Outfit
Jacket – Zara
Black Jersey Dress – Zara
Prisma Bag – Alexander Wang (Via The Outnet) – Sold Out
Shoes – Top Shop (old)
Fuax Oversized Scarf – ASOS
I hope you guys found something useful in between my ramble and rants, so let me know what shops or brands are your go-to’s for a good old biker jacket!
Until the next post.
