The Ripped Mom Jeans - Style and the SassThe Ripped Mom Jeans 1 - Style and the Sass

Hi Guys, Happy Friday!

I’m so glad it’s basically the weekend, and I have a busy day ahead. All fun things which is good! So today I’m going to be talking about my newest pair of ripped mom jeans from ASOS. Yes I have worn them almost everyday, and yes I have no shame. Being a women who has ‘body’, my biggest challenge is buying trousers. Buying jeans is just another ball game.

Ripped Mom Jeans & The Struggle

Okay, so I’ve been searching for the perfect pair of ripped mom jeans for a while now. Traditionally I’ve always worn high-waisted jeans, as it flattered my shape more. But more recently, as my style been evolving, I’ve found myself wearing more mom style jeans. I love the masculine and boxy feel to this style of denim, and it’s so comfortable to wear.

Now as I mentioned before, buying jeans has always been a struggle for me. When people ask me what size I am, I mean where do I start? My top size is different from my dress size, and I’m two sizes up on the bottom. This also varies when it come to the style, and even what fabric the trousers are made from. So Yes it’s pretty stressful buying the right pair of trousers.

I hate the fact that our favourite high street brands, don’t carter towards us ladies that have some hips! I’m forever holding my jeans up with a belt. Recently I gave up on that, and now when I wear jeans it just makes me look like I have a pouch and feel fat. Even worse, I’ve had to go up 3 sizes in mom jeans!! Not gonna lie, I did go up in a few sizes for these ASOS pair but they have been the most comfortable by far.

For ripped mom jeans, they have a lot of distressing. I’ve had fun styling these as it adds a new edge to your basics shirts and jumpers. They also have a stepped hem, which also give added character to the jeans. ASOS jeans are always good quality, and so affordable in price. Worth the try ladies!
