Hello and welcome! In today’s post, I’m going to be talking about midi dresses and tie-dye prints. Tie-dye has been around for a long time but has become a low key trend the previous season – in more wearable muted neutral colours and tones.
I haven’t shopped clothing from ASOS in a long time other than beauty and skincare products, mainly due to my recent obsession with Zara. In addition, during the spring-summer months, I also went through a mini skirt phase. I guess I was excited by my weight loss and happy I could wear mini skirts as I have never been able to, as they would just look like belts on me haha! However, there is something about a midi bodycon dress I just love, which enhances your natural curves and adds a touch of class to a sexy dress.

The Backless Midi Dress
This backless midi-dress is a slightly different style for me. I don’t usually wear prints, I tend to stick to plain coloured fabrics in neutral colours, with pops of colour. So for those that know me, this will be a nice (maybe surprising) change. What can I say I love wearing black haha! I do however love a bit of animal print – although it can be hard to find prints that don’t look cheap.
This dress is made from a jersey fabric, with a tie-dye print. It is very stretchy, however, I recommend that you buy your size and don’t go too small as this will impact the depth of the colours. For example on tighter areas such as the num and thighs, the fabric is more stretch and you can see the white on the other side creating through making it look grey. It’s midi length and has a backless design.
This dress can be styled in a variety of ways due to the style and print. You can either style it up elegantly as I have for a more evening look. Or you could pair the dress with white trainers or black chunky boots for a more relaxed, casual look paired with a leather jacket. Let me know what you think of this look, and I’ll see you in the next post.
