In today’s post, we are talking about women’s Zara summer dresses! With summer upon us, let’s discuss what one of my fave high street stores has to offer this year! We’ve had a glimpse of what the UK summer is going to look like, and so far it’s looking wet haha, however, that won’t stop us from looking fab and wearing what we would like to wear!
Zara has been one of the main places I go to shop summer dresses on the high-street, as well as H&M, ASOS and Mango. These stores for me offer great options that can be dressed up or look chic with the right accessories makig it look expensive. Zara summer dress collection offers something for everyone. From bossy vibes, to girly femmine styles and prints. This dress I got back in May I believe, and I’ve only just got around to wearing it! So lets get into the post!
Why Zara is My go To for Summer Dresses
As previously mentioned, Zara is one of the main places I shop when looking for summer dresses along with a few other high street stores. The dresses fit my style (which io always find hard to describe), but essentially great for the ladies who want to look expensive on a budget. Clean cuts, feminine sillioettes and neautral tones inpiration from the catwalks Zara is great for this, and most importantly, lets keeo it real, the items don’t look cheap.
This dress is made from a linen-blend fabric, so it has some stretch to it, making it very flattering on your natural curves. It has wide short sleeves, a deep v-neck to accentuate the cleavage area. It is a mini dress and very short, so on me, if I bend too far down then I will be flashing people to take care when going about your business in this. For reference, I’m 5’4 (well a little under). So if you’re tall, and not a risk taker, then I recommend you opt for their midi-style dresses. I styled these with my Bottega Veneta Stretch Sandles in green, which I am currently obsessed with as it can be styled with a variety of outfits day-to-night as I did in my previous post! This dress also looks great with a pair of sandals or heels as I have styled it here.
In the next few posts you will see more bits that I have picked up from Zara for this summer season, which looks most likely will get the love abroad, where the sun is actaully shining ptoperly! You will see how I style these with more luxury pieces.
